Rhinoceros gives birth to a 50-kilogramme baby

Michael Adler (R) bottle-feeds a baby rhinoceros while animal caregivers Carsten Ludwig and Manuela Hoffmann take its temperature at the all-weather zoo in Muenster, Germany, 21 September 2009. The 50-kilogramme baby was born on 20 September and instead of being brought up by its mother is cared for by a team of staff twenty-four-seven.
